“Morning-after” pill approved
No prescription needed

Finland’s National Agency for Medicines has approved over-the-counter sales of the abortifacient morning-after pill. Pharmacies will be allowed to sell the pills without a prescription to anybody over the age of 15, reports the Helsinki Sanomat. Sales are expected to commence as early as May.

Finland is known for its obsessive support of abortion. Not only does the country permit what amounts to abortion on demand, it also pushes for abortion at the United Nations and has been party to threats of economic sanction against countries that refuse to budge from pro-life and pro-family policies. The country is a strong financial supporter of the abortion-promoting International Planned Parenthood Federation. Last year the Finnish parliament voted to allow homosexual marriage-like civil unions, granting homosexual couples practically all the rights of natural married couples.
