Deciding with God / PART 5: God's PartHave you been wondering if we are really lonely? Here's your answer!

Every self-help book in the world has the same defect. It can't fix our problems.
Only we can. Sure, we can get advice. But in the end the decision is ours alone. No one can look
inside us to point us on our way.
But are we really alone?
We can go it alone. But we don't have to. God isn't outside looking in. He's inside looking out...
for us and our needs.
With God's help we can go beyond the simple pros and cons
of normal human decision-making. At confirmation, God imprints an indelible character on every
Christian's soul. It's not just a mark - property of God - it's also a mission, and the tools to
complete it. The tools are the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and if we look carefully, each one of them
has a special role to play in Christian decision-making.
Every single one of
your decisions is a tiny life summary. And the gifts of the Holy Spirit add God's touch to every
step of the way. Ask for them. Let them grow: use them. God is already inside the puzzle of your
life. All you have to do is let Him put the finishing touches to it.
