Prayers for the Elderly

August is the month dedicated to the elderly and we have a big chance to give to these adorable persons the same love and attention that they devoted us in our childhood.

They taught us how to love our God, how to live according the Christian values. They made us stronger with their experiences and wisdom. They gave us their understanding and support in our hard times. Now, they need our company and gratitude.

According this occasion Catholic.net has organized the offering of prayers, novenas and masses around the world for our elders during the month of August. This is possible thanks to the contribution of priests, convents and monasteries.

You can be part of these by sending the names of the persons that you want to be included on these offerings. you can also send for the intentions of the Eders in your life who already passed away. All your intentions will be especially mentioned during the prayers, novenas and masses celebrated for this occasion. You just have to send a prayer request: http://www.catholic.net/index.php?option=eventshight&mode=prayer and we will send the names and requests to the priests, convents and monasteries that joined us on this special time.

Please notice that prayers, novenas and masses are for free. Prayers and novenas have no cost to you and likewise the Holy Masses are said for free by volunteers Catholic priests, but if you want to make a donation please visit us: https://secure.entango.com/donate/cjaRXsCyVi4

The donation is not a requirement to make the offerings so please don’t stop sending the names just because you can’t give a financial support.

If you are a priest and want to join this campaign by saying Masses, please let us know through contact@catholic.net.

God bless you all.
