New Arizona Law Mandates Ultrasounds before Abortion
PHOENIX—Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has signed into law legislation that requires abortion providers to offer women the opportunity for an ultrasound exam at least one hour prior to obtaining an abortion. Women can refuse the ultrasound.
The new law also prohibits the practice of "telemedicine," video conferences in which a physician prescribes chemical abortion.
A Woman's Concern Pregnancy Health Services reported that 77% of women receiving an ultrasound decided to keep the baby. Similar results are being reported from other pregnancy centers throughout the country, which is why pro-abortionists oppose ultrasounds, since abortion is the main source of income for their so-called pro-choice agencies.
