iBreviary Pro Terra Sancta

Details on the newest features.

The iBreviary Pro Terra Sancta, a popular app for Catholics, has been revamped. It is great to be used as a tool for meditation, reflection and daily prayer.

The iBreviary makes it is possible to join in prayer with Christians living in Israel through the recitation of the breviary and readings used in the sanctuaries of the Holy Land. Moreover, users can also learn about the activities of the Franciscans of the Holy Places.

Among the new technical features, in addition to the beautiful and elegant (as well as functional) graphics , are: The ability to enlarge the text by using the "pinch-to-zoom", typical of Apple devices (using the fingers on the screen).  The useful ability to change the contrast of the background to enable better reading of the texts – one can read the texts in "parchment" and in "white paper".

New languages are also available. In particular, thanks to an agreement with the Catholic Church in Romania and the valuable collaboration of a group of Romanian priests, texts are available in the Romanian language. This is a major step forward in the direction of universality – not only for the Catholic Church – but also for the service that iBreviary wishes to provide to all Catholics throughout the world. Currently, there are preparations to also provide the texts in German.

There are many other new features in the application, features that we invite you to discover for yourself by downloading the application. Check it out:
