We still need U$85,000 to enable Catholic.net to continue its work and to offer information free of charge for another year.

Dear Catholic.net Friend in Christ,

As you know, Catholic.net’s work of evangelization is made possible thanks to the generous financial support of users like you.

We are most thankful to the thousands of users who generously responded to our fundraising appeals. Their willingness to share of our cross reflects the grace of God towards all of us. Please keep our donors in your prayers that the Lord will bless them manifold.

Our fundraising goal was U$170,000. In the midst of the financial challeges we all face, we were only able to receive half of this ammount, which means we are U$85,000 short of the ammount necessary to keep Catholic.net online through another year.

Donations from our users are Catholic.net's main source of funds. They guarantee our ongoing service as well as the possibility of continued growth and development.

This year's goal is yet to be met!

We still need U$85,000 to enable Catholic.net to continue its work and to offer information free of charge for another year. Our services are rendered free of charge not only to our donors, but also to those who live in the poorest areas of the world and who could never afford a subscription. Most specially, our free services help priests and religious who need the resources we offer on a daily basis but cannot support us financially because they live vows of poverty.

Information on the Pope and the Church cannot be reserved to an "elite" group. We want to make sure it is accessible to everyone. We also work to make sure the Good News of the Gospel is known by everyone, Catholics and non-Catholics alike. We have the mission to share Christ’s message of love, peace, justice and hope with all souls free of charge.

That's why we ask each one of our users to send a donation according to the measurement in which the Lord has blessed them financially. This is an act of solidarity: It allows thousands of readers who are hungry and thirsty for the Truth to receive -- directly and completely -- the message of the Gospel, the Church and the Pope.

Catholic.net has been offering this service for more than 10 years now thanks to the many Catholic.net friends like you who have offered their financial support.

Needless to say, we are always most grateful for the support that you have given us. Now, we hope to be able to count on your generous help once again!

If you are one of our users who have not yet contributed, please prayerfully consider sending your gift now. We need your help.

Pope Benedict XVI has said on several occasions that we are not just facing an economic crisis. Above all, this is a crisis of a society that has pursued the model of easy and quick gains, at times to the detriment of justice, solidarity and even the most fundamental ethical values.

We think this is a historic opportunity to proclaim the Gospel. Christianity can give people the answers they are seeking. But how will they know Christ if no one speaks to them about him? (Romans 10:13-15).

We thank you wholeheartedly for your financial support of our apostolate. Please also remember us and our hundreds of volunteers in your prayers. You are also part of the Catholic.net team. Together we can accomplish a great mission.

With a warm greeting in the Lord,

Rosalia Tenorio
