Fr. Michael explains what it means that Jesus, our King, reigns from the cross.

This Sunday, we celebrate the great feast of Christ the King. Sometimes it is easy to forget that Jesus is King, that he is really in charge. Even when we do remember that He is our king, we might think of him reigning from His Heavenly throne, but the example of Jesus shows us that he is a different type of King from one who reigns in comfort and glory. Rather, Christ's throne is the cross. If we want to find Christ, and serve Him, we must look to the cross. It is only when we suffer for Christ that we will come to reign with Him in Heaven. Father Michael gives some practical advise for how we can serve Christ, our crucified king.
