Fr. Michael reflects on what it means to choose the "better part" like Mary did in the Gospel.

"Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her," (Lk 10:41-42). In this Sunday's Gospel reading, we hear the story of Martha and Mary. Martha complains to Jesus that her sister, Mary, has left her to do all the serving. Jesus gently reminds her of what is most important, our relationship with Him. Often we can get caught up easily in all the details of daily life and lose sight of our relationship with God. Fr. Michael offers some thoughts on how we can seek the better part. Email Fr. Michael at firstname.lastname@example.org
