We are saved by being baptized in the Living Water, who is Jesus Christ. It is only through Him, that we are reconciled to God (who is the Source of Life). We must believe that Jesus is God and confess that He is God with our mouth. Ask Him to recieve His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our seal of salvation, in which we become a new creation and part of God's own family.

I would like to say "Amen" to Mary's comment. For more on this subject please see my website and my book: "Confessions of a Born Again Catholic" which, by the way, has the Imprimatur and Nihil Obstat. The Catholic view of salvation is somewhat different (and I believe more scripturally accurate) than the fundamentalist protestant view. Viva la difference! In my book, the chapter on salvation is entitled "Salvation-Saying it Isn't Enough". Faith and works go hand in hand. You need both to be saved.

John1:12-13; 1JN 3:9 ACTS9:3-5 CATHOLICS wanting to be born again should just do what the bible says and truly be baptized by the Holy spirit and their spirit becomes alive with Christ
