Father Michael talks about the importance of going outside of our comfort zone in our lives.

In this Sunday's Gospel, we hear the story of Jesus being in Peter's boat. After preaching, Jesus asks Peter, "Put out into deep water and lower your nets for a catch," (Luke 5:4). Although he had fished all night to no avail, Peter followed Our Lord's instruction and made a miraculous catch of fish. Christ comes to us with the same command, "Put out into the deep!" He is asking us to put aside our fears and go outside of our comfort zone, and into the deep waters where He can do great things with us. In this video, Fr. Michael reflects on this invitation from Christ. Contact Fr. Michael at msliney@legionaries.org!
