New Haven, CT -- (Catholic.net) -- 06/11/2009 – GrapeVine, the website about Catholic performing artists (www.gvonline.net) announces a full-fledged partnership with Catholic.net to bring news about Catholic music to the public.

Susan Bailey, editor of GrapeVine, has been commissioned by Rosalia Tenorio, Director of Catholic.net English, to provide content for the webportal’s popular music channel (www.catholic.net/music).

Since the partnership began in October 2008, Susan has contributed nearly 50 stories to the portal featuring profiles of Catholic artists, reviews of CDs, and videos. Other website editors are also contributing to Catholic.net.

Susan Bailey is now the Catholic.net music editor and oversees featured content to the portal’s music channel.

“I’m so pleased with GrapeVine’s partnership with Catholic.net,” says Susan. “Catholic music doesn’t get a lot of exposure and Catholic.net exposes a whole new audience to the wonderful music that is out there.”

Catholic.net aims to help build synergies among Catholic musicians. “Music ministry is a powerful evangelization tool. GrapeVine’s service to the Church is invaluable. Through GrapeVine, Catholic.net is fortunate to offer users a glimpse of the fantastic evangelization work Catholic musicians do.”, stated Tenorio.

About GrapeVine
GrapeVine first appeared on the web in 2000, originally offering print issues in PDF format that visitors could download for free from the website. The website was pulled down in 2002 due to catastrophic computer failure, but came back again in 2004. In 2007 and 2008 GrapeVine went to print and produced 5 hardcopy full color editions. In the Spring of 2008, GrapeVine went back to being a purely web-based publication, taking full advantage of Web 2.0 technologies of blogs, podcasts and videos. GrapeVine partners with other sites such as Catholic.net, and Catholicmom.com, Today’s Catholic Woman, OCP and WLP among others to create a one-stop source of information on Catholic music. The site can be found
