The KCCM Awards will recognize excellence in Christian Music on April 18th during a day-long conference at Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, KS. Catholic artists Matthew Baute and Sharmane have made it to the finals in their respective categories: Matthew for Best Inspirational Artist, and Sharmane for Best Female Vocalist.
The KCCM Awards is part of a day-long conference entitled "The Concert of Friends Event," meant to encourage Christian artists in their ministries. The day contains workshops on the practical aspects of being a professional Chr
istian artist - songwriting, vocal training, marketing and selling your music, building a band, performance, etc. Alyson Bleistine of ALBIE Entertainment is presenting a workshop on Marketing and Selling Music, (how to find your market and offer your music for sale effectively).
