Is it moral and ethical to harvest embryos? If certain medical cures are developed from taking the life of the embryo would it be morally wrong to use the cure?

President Obama has authorized the use of federal funding to allow Embryonic Stem-Cell Research which had be banned by the Bush administration for more than the sixty lines that were developed prior to him taking office. Certain moral issues arise such as is it moral and ethical to harvest embryos?  If certain medical cures are developed from taking the life of the embryo would it be morally wrong to use the cure?
