John Michael Talbot, Tony Melendez and many others bless and entertain attendees - watch their performances here.
Tony Melendez It was an unforgettable moment when, on September 15, 1987, he played his guitar for Pope John Paul II in Los Angeles. Born without arms, he performed a touching song entitled Never Be The Same. When the Pope approached him from the stage to kiss him in appreciation, it seemed to reflect the sentiments of the entire country. Tony Melendez again inspired all of us with a couple of songs. John Michael Talbot John Michael Talbot delighted the audience when he performed at the UCMVA Unity Awards in New Orleans on October 25, 2008. In this clip, he enlists the help of the audience to sing and pray his version of Psalm 104: Lord, Send Forth Your Spirit. He then discussed the state of the monastery since the fire on April 28 of this year, thanking people for their help in supporting the rebuilding project. His final performance of Come Home Little Children from the Living Water album, was preceded by an invitation to re-examine where we are in relationship with God and to take the opportunity during the song to Come Home, to come back to Jesus. John Michael won two Unity Awards this year: Devotional Album of the Year for Living Water - 50th and also Male Vocalist of the Year. Matthew Baute Description: Matthew Baute (pronounced 'bow-dee') performed You Answer Me live at the UCMVA Unity Awards in New Orleans on October 25, 2008. AWESOME performance! Matthew accompanied himself on his guitar, but was using a looping effects pedal to layer the sounds. Listen and watch his hands and feet. Very talented! Awesome ministry! © 2007 World Library Publications. www.wlpmusic.com Video used with permission.Matthew Baute - Performance at Unity Awards 2008
