Prayers for the Souls in Purgatory

Prayer of St. Maragaret to release souls from purgatory
(Our Lord Promised St. Maragaret that 1000 souls would
be released from Purgatory, every time this prayer was said)

Eternal Father, I offer you the precious blood of thy divine
Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world
today for all the holy souls in purgatory.  Amen.

A Prayer for the Souls in Purgatory

O gentle Heart of Jesus, ever
present in the Blessed Sacrament,
ever consumed with burning
love for the poor captive souls
in Purgatory, have mercy on
them, especially N....N....

Be not severe in Your judgements,
but let some of Your Precious
Blood fall upon the devouring flames.

And, Merciful Savior, send Your
angels to conduct them to a place
of refreshment, light and peace.
Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Eternal Rest,

Eternal Rest Prayer

Eternal Rest grant unto them O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.  Amen.

Prayer to Jesus for the Suffering Souls

My Jesus,
by the sorrows you suffered
in your agony in the garden,
in the scourging and crowning with thorns,
in the way to Calvary,
in your crucifixion and death,
have mercy on the souls in purgatory,
especially those who are most forsaken.
Deliever them from the dire torments they endure,
and admit them to your most sweet embrace in paradise.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Eternal Rest,
